When I heard of the bombing at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, I was stunned. 2 people killed - one an 8 year old child. Over 100 injured.
But not surprised. I knew it was only a matter of time before something like this happened. And now that it has, I feel that it is only the beginning.
I hope that I am wrong.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the runners, friends, family and people of Boston.

Absolutely devastating. Every day I open the newspaper here in Southern California I read another story about a school shooting. Sadly - the last shooting I read was on page A7, not even front page news anymore. I question everyday why I moved to America, the land of violence.
