MEET THE OWLS

These are Barred Owls - pictures taken by someone on another Owl Count.  They played the tape and called these owls in.  They used a flash to get the shots.  They are interesting but apparently you should never take a flash picture or use a flashlite to illuminate them as it could damage their eyes.
This is what we would have seen on our Owl Count.
At least that one got lucky.
