We got back from our southern visits just in time to enjoy New Year's Eve on Axe Lake. As usual, it was well attended but some new additions this year were two very young guests. 3 month old identical twin girls Ella and Emma. I quickly got to hold one of them and enjoyed every moment of it. The food was amazing as usual - ribs, sausages, cabbage rolls, chilli, devilled eggs - you name it and all delicious.
As John and Linda now live in town, I invited them to sleep over at our house over nite so they wouldn't have to make that long drive home. They emerged from the bedroom all dressed up in matching night shirts. With back doors!!! And Linda said I could use this picture.
We had a New Year's Day breakfast and invited Doug and Diane over as well. A great way to bring in the new year. Next year we will do all this at John and Linda's in town.
