GETTING CAUGHT UP

The weather has sort of been co-operating and we have been able to get outside and get some work done.
First we have our Loon back.  Each year we have one solitary Loon on the lake.  They mate for life and I guess something happened to the other Loon and this one returns each year and stays all summer.  He/she is fun to watch.
We helped our friends Ron and Mary do some landscaping at their new property last week.  Rejean raked the large area next to the house and Ron moved some rocks with his backhoe and then both tractors were needed to move one big rock that was too big for one tractor to handle.  Mary and I picked rocks.
I was in Windsor for a few days helping Claire with her balcony.  After a delicious Chinese dinner one nite, we toured the big houses in Russell Woods.  We spotted some Canada Geese and their little ones.  We also saw some swans and a rabbit.  Claire had never toured that area and she was left with a sore neck from gawking at all the houses.  We had fun.
I spotted a man walking 3 Dachshunds at the Windsor Marina.  Just had to get a picture of that.  We used to have Dashounds when we were growing up and I always am drawn to them.
And the last picture is of our boat that is sitting ready for the Walleye opener next weekend.  It is all set and we just have to get our fishing gear ready and we are good to go.
