I feed the birds and so the squirrels try and get in on the action - I actually feed them as well. In the deep snow, they dig tunnels from one spot to another and this little guy likes to hide. I throw the seeds down into the hole and when they are gone, he peeks out when I walk up to see if I throw him some. And I do. Today I had my camera ready and was trying to get him to poke his head out. My patience was rewarded by these shots. It's nice when they co-operate.
