9:15AM COMPUTER BOUND
I tried to book concert tickets on line - the Rankin Family will be in the Sault on February 18th and I really like them so I went on the web site to try and do it on line - Big mistake!! By the time I had found the site, located the event I wanted, picked the seats, registered for payment it had timed out. I ended up calling them on the phone and actually getting the seats I had tried to get on line. Go figure!! I calculate I spent about 1 hour doing this - one frustrating hour....
CLARIFICATION REQUIRED
For those of you confused with the time line of my "day in the life" series I can't post the hourly pictures and narrations all in real time because I have dial up and because I don't have the time to sit and post all 12 hours worth of activity so I have chosen to just do a few hours a day - not necessarily on the day it happened. I guess that will keep you all in suspense of my fun filled daily activities.
A comment on the Super Bowl last nite - it was a great game and the 1/2 entertainment rocked big time but I didn't get all the commercials - up here it was all Canadian stuff like the Canadian Olympics and local ads. I did get to see a few like the Clydesdale Horse one which was good. Then on Canada AM this morning they showed a few. Like the talking babies - they were cute. I LOLd. It was a nail bitter down to the last few seconds as a Super Bowl should be. The best team won.

ps-actually the best thing about the SuperBowl was the performance by Journey before the game - they sang Don't Stop Believing - a favourite song of mine - but the lead singer was not the original band member - I think it was Steve Perry - they actually found this guy on UTube - his name is Arnel Pineda from the Filipines - he sounds amazingly like the original singer What a life changing experience for him. He can sure sing.

BREAKFAST TIME
8:15 am is breakfast time. I have my cheerios and Rejean has his fried egg sandwich - I do make the best ones. After that I cleaned up, did the dishes, made the bed, flossed and brushed my teeth and got my day going.
FOR STACEY - A DAY IN THE LIFE...
I have dial up so posting my whole day would probably take a whole day so I will be doing it a bit at a time. This was a challenge that Stacey had issued for all her bog readers and it sounded like a good idea - just so you would know how I pass the time up here. I don't know where to start - at the beginning or at the end. As it will appear on this site, the morning will appear before the end of the day so I will start at the beginning and go from there. Please be guided accordingly...
The day I choose was Friday January 30th, 2009. It started like any other day, I heard the coffee go off at 7am - I got up, beat Rejean to the bathroom, and then started the fire. Please keep in mind that this picture was taken without a sip of coffee. I don't know why it is so blurry as my camera is supposed to have image stabilization - oh well. You can still make out stuff.
Those are my slippers...
I watch Canada AM on channel 221 - we get local news and weather each 1/2 hour so I am informed.
